OBSERVATION 019

さきの谷 Saki no Tani

Likeness

40000 points ・ 10s per turn

Press the picture and the points thin out. There are four rungs — forty thousand, six hundred, forty, one. The equation running underneath does not change. Only the shape goes.
“Listen” is the same bundle of relations, thrown to the ear instead of the eye. No sound was added; the same equation is put out through another sense.

There are two places to be.

At the start they are all in one; at the end they are all in the other.

Crossing over, the crowd narrows.
They cannot cross while staying spread out.
Some leave first; some do not move until the end.
That difference becomes a band.

Over one turn, the two places rotate half a turn and change places.
So the place they arrive at, at the end, is the place they were standing at the start.
Once you arrive, that is where you came from.
Only while it was far off was it far off.

Run at any time, by anyone, it appears in the same form.
No randomness, no clock, nothing from the environment.

The button above takes the equation out as it is. To count it again yourself:

pbpaste > f.txt && printf %s "$(cat f.txt)" | shasum -a 256

Take it and run it. No randomness and no clock are used, so the same creature appears on your screen too. The equation belongs to no one.
