Getting started

Name your cat, choose one small tidying task and record it when you are done. You can replay the introduction in Settings.

How do I earn fish?

Complete a habit today to earn 10 fish, once per habit per day. Undoing and completing it again does not give another reward. Past-date records do not earn fish. You can also collect the daily visit bonus: 5 fish, or 10 on the seventh claim. These visits do not need to be consecutive.

How do I decorate my room?

Choose furniture in the shop or use the furniture goal on Today. Trade earned fish for the item, then display or put it away in Room. Items in the same spot replace each other.

My purchased content is missing

Open Restore Purchases using the same Apple Account you used to buy the item. You need an internet connection for Apple to check the purchase. Fish and habit records are restored from your own backup file, separately from purchases.

What does Cat Habit Plus include?

All Plus plans include four widget and photo frame colors, up to six saved room layouts, and monthly and yearly records. On iOS 17 or later, you can switch saved layouts from the medium widget. Additional cats and furnished room sets are sold separately. Basic habit tracking, widgets and photo sharing stay free.

How do subscriptions work?

Monthly plans are billed for one month; annual plans are paid upfront for one year. They renew unless canceled. To stop renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Access continues until the paid period ends. The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Plans are available after Apple approval and sales begin.

How do I add a widget?

Touch and hold the iPhone Home Screen, choose Edit → Add Widget, and search for Cat Habit. Choose a small or medium widget. Open the app once after updating so the widget has your latest room. Widget refresh timing is controlled by iOS.

Can I take a photo of my cat’s room?

In Room, choose Take a photo. Choose square or story format, then use the iOS share sheet. Including your cat’s nickname or completed-day count is optional and off by default.

What happens after a break?

Your cat, furniture and memories stay. Your cat’s tummy changes over time, but your friendship and memories are not erased. Come back whenever you are ready.

Moving to a new iPhone

Save a backup file in Settings on the old device, then import it on the new one. Importing replaces the current records, so back those up first if needed. There is no automatic account sync.

Changing the language

Cat Habit supports Japanese and English. Change the preferred language for Cat Habit in iPhone Settings. If the language option is not shown, add English or Japanese in iPhone Settings → General → Language & Region. Reopen the app after changing the language. Your own habit titles and cat nickname are preserved.

Deleting records

Use Clear records on this device in Settings. Delete backup files saved elsewhere separately. This does not remove Apple purchase history or request a refund.
