Information stored on your device

Your habits, scheduled weekdays, completion records, cat nickname, fish, furniture, selected cat and room are stored on this device. They are used to show records, rewards and your room, and to keep your settings. Saved room layouts and widget and photo display preferences are also managed locally.

Accounts and network access

Normal habit tracking does not require an account. Habit records are not sent to the publisher unless you choose to join the optional invitation program. There are no advertising or analytics features. Apple and operating-system diagnostics and purchases follow their respective settings and policies.

Optional invitations

After you agree to participate, CHIERO verifies Apple-signed app transaction information, including the app-specific user identifier, original download date and device verification identifier, on Cloudflare servers. Identifiers are stored as keyed hashes. We store invitation relationships, the time zone offset at registration, recording days, and reward allocation and redemption information to provide rewards and prevent duplicate claims. When claiming the alternative reward for current Plus members, we also verify Apple purchase information. We do not send habit titles or content, cat nicknames, names, email addresses, contacts or friends’ names. IP addresses are hashed for short-lived abuse rate limits and removed after expiry. Cloudflare may process information outside your country.

Deleting invitation data

Settings → Invite a friend → Delete invitation participation disables your participation and deletes referral recording days and furniture information. During operation of the program, we retain minimal keyed user/device hashes, participation and reward-allocation facts, and invitation relationships to prevent repeated claims and preserve the other participant’s earned rewards. This is separate from clearing ordinary habit records. While you participate, we keep information needed to restore your rewards. Contact support for access or deletion requests.

In-app purchases and restoration

Purchases and restoration of extra cats, rooms, furnished sets and Cat Habit Plus use Apple's in-app purchase system. Purchase information verified by Apple is used to enable purchased content. This app does not ask for or store card numbers.

Backups

You can save habits, completions and related records to a file. You choose where to save or share it and are responsible for keeping it safe. Importing a file replaces the current records on the device. Purchase entitlements are verified separately with Apple.

Widgets and photo sharing

From version 1.3, widgets store cat, room and furniture images, completion totals and display settings in a local area shared by the app and its widget. Habit titles and your cat's nickname are not shown in widgets. You create photos and choose where to save or send them using the operating system's share sheet. Including the nickname or completed-day count in a photo is off by default. Check the image and destination before sharing. Clearing app records does not delete images already saved or sent elsewhere.

Deleting records

Use Clear records on this device in Settings to delete app records and local recovery data. Delete any backup files saved elsewhere yourself. This action does not delete Apple's purchase history or request a refund.

Retention

Records stay on this device. They may be lost when the app is deleted or you change devices. Back up records you want to keep beforehand.

Support inquiries

If you contact us by email, we use your email address and message to reply and investigate problems. If sending a backup, include only the information needed. Contact the publisher for requests to access, correct or delete personal information.
